Roy and Jennifer got married in 1981. Roy was the in-charge of the recording studio in the AG Church in Lucknow as well as the music/choir director. Jennifer was teaching in a well established school in the city of Lucknow. Instead of settling into a comfortable life in Lucknow with a very supportive circle of friends, they knew in their hearts that God wanted to do something in and through their lives. So when they were offered a job in a Children's Home on the border of Nepal they accepted it albeit reluctantly as they did not have the foggiest idea of what the future had in store for them.

Their daughter was just 2 years as they set off much to the dismay of their close friends and family. They took a tiny step of faith and honoured God and he has been faithful all these years to them and has blessed them tremondously.

Today after 19 years of serving Him in Rupaidiha, as they look back their hearts are filled with gratitude for all that the Lord Jesus - their faithful God has done.
